Ifinger Hut

Easy to reach via a gentle hiking trail from the Taser cable car in Scena, but also via partly steep and strenuous hiking trails that run over the entire Mount Scena: No matter which ascent route you choose, you deserve your rest at the Ifinger hut! Wonderfully situated on a green alpine meadow below the Ifinger massif, you can also take over 2 other, small but fine tours to the Künig or to the Lawand summit from here.

What awaits you at the Ifinger hut on the Mount Scena
A very cozy hut, beautifully nestled at the foot of the Ifinger peak, which offers great food. The very friendly innkeeper will gladly give you information about the nearby hiking destinations for which the Ifinger Hut is the ideal starting point, such as the Künig and the Lawand summit. The most comfortable way to reach the Ifinger Hut is via hiking trail 18A, which starts at the Taser Alm (1450 meters). This in turn can be easily reached by cable car from Scena.
Immediately after the Taser Alm, the path leads through dense coniferous forest, through which it meanders leisurely up the Mount Scena without any major inclines. After about 2.5 km and 370 meters you reach the Ifinger Hut.
